I never heard the term 'spiritual family' before I came to MSNY but in my time here God has shown me how important is it to be part of a family, and not just some solitary Christian. My deepening walk with Him has been a result of many different elements but walking alongside men and women with hearts after God has been the most critical. They have become my brothers and and sisters, and rather than walking alone I now walk alongside them. 

So many people try to live the Christian life alone but it's not the way it's meant to be. To have people around to lift you up when you fall and to rejoice with you when you prosper is what God designed. And now, I can also give to others as much as I've been given. I now realize I am part of the body; different from every part other and just as integral.
